How to Play Shuffleboard

- To start, players decide by ROCK, PAPER SCISSORS or a COIN TOSS to decide who goes first and what color weight each will have. TIP: It is an advantage to shoot last. The player who shoots last is said to have the “hammer”.
- Players stand at the same end of the table to play.
- First player: “Shuffles” the first weight toward the “Target” at the end of the playing field and attempts to land on the highest scoring mark.
- Second player: “Shuffles” their first weight, and attempts to either knock off the other player’s weight or to place their own in a higher scoring position.
- The “round” is completed when both players or teams have “shuffled” all of their weights. At the end of each round, the player (team) whose weight is in the highest scoring zone is winner of that round. Only one player/team scores for each round.
- First team to score 15 points wins.
