Return & Refund Policy

We want you to be very happy with your purchase from Skillful Home. This is one of many reasons we promise a truly no-pressure, friendly sales process. We want you to purchase the perfect choice for you.

However, if you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, we are here to help. Please contact us directly so we can discuss any possible solutions. 


Many of our products are special order, including most hot tubs, swim spas, pool tables and kitchen stools. As is the rule across all industries, special order items are not eligible for returns. 

If your item was not special order and you already know that you want to return the item, you have 30 calendar days from the date you received it.

For smaller items, to be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. If it was packaged, your item must be in the original packaging. Your item needs to have the receipt or proof of purchase. 

If your larger item is an item that was not special order but was installed by us and you choose to return it within the 30 days, the cost of un-installment will be deducted from your store credit.  Also, be aware that our installations are sometimes booked weeks, sometimes months, in advance. It may take time before your un-installation can be scheduled.

Some larger items, such as game tables, furniture, floor model hot tubs and floor model pool tables are subject to a 15% restock fee.

Store credit

Once you have initiated a return by contacting us via phone or email and we receive your item, we will inspect it and notify you that we have received your returned item. If approved, we will immediately issue a store credit in the form of an e-gift card. 

We do not provide free return shipping however we will include reimbursement for return shipping if the item was damaged or defective when you first received it. To be eligible, email us a photo of the damaged item when you initiate the return.
