Prism Kite Technology is a company based out of Seattle, Washington and the manufacturer of our power/traction kites. Their design team combines a scientist’s understanding of aerodynamics and engineering with an artist’s sense of design, color, and proportion to produce kites that look as good as they fly, at home or in the wildest landscapes of the world. They’ve introduced modern materials to create high-performance frames, sails and fittings that work together to bring you a flight experience impossible just two decades ago. Using materials originally developed for America’s Cup racing sails as well as a wide range of carbon and fiberglass composites to create high-performance frames that are incredibly light and unbelievably strong; we believe Prism makes the best kites around. Their power kites are all about wind–powered thrills on land. Based upon paraglider technology, these all–fabric wings self-inflate as they fly. With sail areas between 2.5 and 5 square meters, they deliver maximum pull for anyone looking for a rush.
